## Story
We all like a good knight saves a princess from a dragon story. But did you know that that classic tale is happening in real life at this very moment? Only instead of a princess, the people in need of rescuing are children; and instead of a dragon the villain of this story is traditional entertainment studios that we all used to trust. Movies and TV shows aimed at children are filled with perverse ideologies intended to capture them in behaviors and lifestyles that can do immense harm. Here's only a taste of what our children are presented with in entertainment from studios such as Disney, Dreamworks, and Nickelodeon: Y'all, they've even got to Peppa Pig! 😭We grew increasingly frustrated with the lack of quality family entertainment, so we set out to provide other likeminded families with the type of movie our family has been craving. And after long months of preproduction and shooting, we think we've got something really special in our first original feature film Dot Conner: Webtective. But let's let the movie speak for itself:Finally, a movie for families like yours!Dot Conner: Webtective is already an award-winning faith-based series for kids currently available on SVOD entertainment platforms such as Tubi, UP Faith and Family, Minno Kids, and more, with over 250,000 household streams in the United States and around the world. In each of the eight original series episodes, Dot and her friends would investigate questions about their faith as if they were mysteries to be solved using detective techniques. In the season finale, Dot received a mysterious phone call from her father...You know what that means... she's got a case to crack! The StoryImagine you've taken your seat in a theater, your family eagerly holding back on eating their popcorn until the movie begins. After an agonizingly long group of trailers are presented (seriously, can we put a limit on those?!), the Huff Media Productions logo appears followed by a SMASH CUT to the silhouette of a man at the end of a dimly lit alley in the middle of the night...In the alley, Grant Conner places a call to his daughter, Dot, asking her for help. But the call is cut short when he's discovered and attacked by unknown assailants. Tied to a chair and interrogated by a couple of dimwitted Russian thugs, Grant exudes confidence knowing that his favorite "webtective" is on the case...On her first day of high school, Dot is nervous and anxious after a cryptic call from her father. Her day worsens when rival Pamela Mondy humiliates her in front of classmates. Amidst this, Dot receives GPS coordinates from her father, leading her and friends Makayla and Alex on an urban treasure hunt. They evade school officials and Russian thugs to uncover a data drive with details on Russian sleeper agents and locate Dot's father, Grant.Relived the ordeal is over, they return to school only to face the consequences of their decision to skip school after Pamela turns them in. The situation escalates when a Russian agent at the school is exposed and Dot is kidnapped. With Grant racing to save her, Dot must escape and reveal the sleeper agent network...An exciting story with an eternal truth...Dot Conner: Webtective, the Movie is a fun, hilarious mystery adventure with an inspiring message of faith at its core. While the story picks up where the first season left off, the movie doesn’t require first season viewing in order to enjoy the adventure. The original Dot Conner: Webtective series featured segments designed to instruct kids on Biblical doctrines and concepts. The movie keeps Biblical truth at the core of its story while adventure drives the plot. Woven throughout the story is the challenge for Dot and her friends to find their strength and courage through faith in Jesus. This mystery pushes Dot to the limit in testing the truth of Philippians 4:13: “I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”And here's the best part...We've already filmed the movie!...which means Dot Conner: Webtective the movie is nearly ready for your family to enjoy in the theater! The CastThe original cast from the series is returning for the film alongside new and exciting additions:AudienceDot Conner: Webtective, the Movie is targeted toward 8-12 year-old boys and girls and their families who hold traditional, biblical values. As the movie is equal parts comedy, mystery, and faith drama, there is something for all ages to enjoy. This is not a movie that parents will drop their kids off to see; instead, families will attend the movie together!Tone & StyleThe tone and style of the movie continues to be at the high, cinematic quality the series is already known for. While the series episodes involved many direct to camera, animated, and interview segments, the movie exchanges these elements for more traditional narrative filmmaking techniques. These elements still feature in the movie, just in a more subtle way.DistributionWe are aiming for a nationwide theatrical release sometime prior to September of this year (2025). The ideal window would be an opening weekend in July or August. In order to meet this goal, we need additional funds to finish the film.Finishing FundsWe estimate an additional $225,000 of needed funds to finish the movie and prep it for theatrical release. Here's what that money will go toward:AN ORIGINAL MUSICAL SCORE ($35K)SOUND DESIGN & MIXING ($35K)VISUAL EFFECTS ($90K)FINAL COLOR GRADE ($15K)PACKAGING & ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS ($50K)We have set our WeFunder campaign to account for an additional estimated budget of $920,000 to aid in the MARKETING of the film. This includes things like playing the trailer in front of other movies, putting up posters in theaters, running social media ads, and more.Marketing PlanDot Conner: Webtective, The Movie is uniquely positioned for a faith-based feature film release in that the growth of the audience is already underway:The Original Series has already been streamed by hundreds of thousands of homes around the globe. An 8-part church Curriculum for children based on the original series was released for FREE in March, 2024.Merchandise is already available via an online store. An interactive entertainment App featuring gamified versions of the 8 episodes of the original series has been released on the Apple Store and Google Play. The production team is also in talks with multiple recognizable brands and organizations to develop strategic marketing partnerships prior to the release of the movie.Comps & Projected ROIBased on the performance of comparable faith-based films released in 2023, where 16 out of 46 films earned at least $1 million and 2 films exceeded $50 million, our film, Dot Conner: Webtective, The Movie, has a strong potential for success in theaters. - Hi, Kate! I think you might be thinking of the Park levels of the movie "The Firing Squad" (https://wefunder.com/firingsquadfilm). Epoch Times is connected to that film and not ours. We'd still love for you to take a look at Dot Conner: Webtective. We're actually in production right now!

   - Hey, Eric! We've set up a production diary outside of the WeFunder platform and are posting daily during production. I will be doing a post this weekend for everyone to see where we're at. Once we've wrapped the shoot, we'll be back to posting about the post-production progress and expect to be able to share exciting distribution news as well. And yes, we intend to file the annual report with the SEC. Thank you for the question!
4. **Hello. I can you please provide more information of the payout structure. I'm wondering if there will be a on going dividend payout beyond the 1.2x / 1.5x pay back? Kind Regards**

- Q: Hello Just looking back at sight to see what updates I might have missed and noticed the “Investor Perks have changed. At the time I invested, there was a $5K level Perk that included the behind-the-scenes content, the one year of Epoch Times, the Early Viewing as well as being listed at the of the movie. Is that I place for when someone invested or did the list get changed? I am grateful for the opportunity to help reach more souls, as the primary reason for the gift, but the Perk was exciting to boot.
