Working in the food industry I have been exposed to unnecessary food waste and with my passion with doggie health I decided to attack two of the biggest issues in the world. Food Waste and Pet Health

Reducing the Carbon Paw Print!

Food waste is one of the largest environmental issues of our generation!

30 billion pounds of that food loss comes from the farm. Naturally occurring outcomes, like cosmetic irregularity or unanticipated bumps in harvest, all lead to food production without eaters. This squanders all the precious resources used to grow that food, and necessitates additional inputs to grow the food we actually do eat.

Dog & Whistle will divert all that beautiful farm food waste to turn into healthy pet feed such as treats, and vet curated meals showing that helping the planet can be as easy as making pet food.

Hi!

My name is Eric Adams and I'm the Founder and CEO of Dog & Whistle. a Las Vegas-based upcycled pet food company that reduces food waste while simultaneously providing our furry friends with sustainable, nutritious, human-grade meals.

I'm here to share that the first worlds first upcycled pet food café is looking to expand into a larger space. With your help you can turn this dream into a reality.

Risks and challenges

We’re mitigating risk by continuing to operate in our smaller pilot store to meet demands within the business. We’ll continue to operate with delivery, pickup and mass production in a rental commercial kitchen only as we settle into the space, later opening our full service , commercial kitchen, and finally indoor/outdoor patio space. Honestly, the bigger risk is not acting on the issues of mass food waste and pet food issues. We can't continue to let our planet die and with your help we can all help "Reduce the Carbon Paw Print" so let’s get moving y’all!
