Netflix for Comics | All-you-can-read platform for thousands of comics

## Elevator pitch
We're building the world’s largest comic book store and providing unlimited access to it all! Comics are still for the most part old school—visit a physical store to get a 20 page issue at $3.99 apiece. But there are 120 ongoing series between Marvel & DC alone. Imagine dishing out $4 for each issue of each series you're interested in every month. Comic books are expensive! We're bringing comics into the 21st century by offering a true all-you-can-read subscription for digital comics.

## FAQ
1. **Fast forward a few years...what is your exit strategy? Do you intend to be acquired or to continue to operate? And do you intend to pay a dividend/distribution down the road?**
 - Craig, thank you for the question. We understand that taking investor money, an exit is the best way for those investors to get a return on their investment. So, yes, we are planning on an exit in the form of an acquisition. We do see a few potential acquirers that would be interested in us. If necessary, we can discuss those in private, as I don't want to come off as too presumptuous in a public forum! And yes, when it makes financial sense, we plan on paying distributions to our investors. ...
2. **Hi Jordan, great job on the explanations laid out in the Details section. One of the more extensive ones I've seen so far! Two questions for now though - (1) For publishers and language, what other markets are you targeting? (2) Could you dive a little into how you'd use the f...**
 - Edwin, thank you for the compliments! We worked hard to prepare as much as possible for this campaign. To answer your questions: (1) We are currently have users in 133 countries, although our only language is English. Our top markets are currently the U.S./Canada, UK, and Canada. However, since Japan is the largest comic market on the planet, it would be a likely contender as our first expansion, as well as France/Belgium which is the #2 market in the world. So, we're looking at expansion in ...
3. **Hi Jordan, thanks for your response! "We've been toying with the idea of even releasing print versions possible as well!" - this was what I had in mind when I asked the question. While I love to read on mobile/tablet, there will always be that few books which I prefer to hold ...**
 - Edwin, usually the cost is just paying for each page that's viewed. For some premiere publishers however, there could be advance payments offset by the accrual of royalties. So, we need to come up with that money in order to acquire content.
4. **Hi there! I've never even heard about Blitz before and am very interested in the project. I'm ready to sign up and get on board, however, there are two concerns. 1) I use Android devices, how certain are you that an Android version of the app will arrive in February? 2) I live...**
 - Hi Ivan! We have already tested our beta for the Android, and are making final preparations for a release this month! Yes, our app is available in Russia, and around 95% of our content is made available through the app store. I'm not sure what Russia itself might limit however. But, between us, Apple, and Google, content should not be restricted. As for how much time usually passes before it appears on ComicBlitz, it differs from publisher to publisher, but a general area of 1-6 months. Hope ...
5. **With all the series that are available, do you offer reading guides for different universes or events?**
 - Hi Matt, that is something is currently on our product road map. We have some crossovers from companies like Dynamite, and Valiant that we would like to present to our readers in correct reading order, instead of jumping from series to series in order to read. As a fan myself, I appreciate that kind of thing. So it's something we will be implementing as we move forward! Thanks Matt!

## Q&A
- Q: When will we receive compensation ?
- Q: Will investors be receiving tax docs for the 2020 distribution? Please advise.
- Q: When will we receive compensation for your buyout - I have asked numerous times with no response. Are you keeping all the funds for yourself?
 - A: Richard, not sure if you've been alerted, or seeing the updates, but I've been updating here: https://wefunder.com/comicblitz/updateIf there are any questions you have after reading, I'm happy to answer. As for your current question, I'm keeping an eye on the stock, and haven't sold it yet. Trying to yield the best ROI for all WeFunder investors. Once stock is sold, you will certainly be alerted, and next steps to distribute cash will be taken.
- Q: So I just noticed that in May I started being charged a monthly fee for my subscription. So aside from losing money on this investment, the "Lifetime Subscription" perk has been removed, and without even bothering to notify us? Classy.
- Q: Hi, I understand the company was bought out? How do we receive compensation for this?
- Q: Have you explored the concept of user generated content or being a platform for independent small shop comics?
 - A: Jacek, Thanks for the question. We are currently working on the backend technology to accept unsolicited material, opening the doors to ALL creators, no matter their size.
- Q: was looking to invest
 - A: Lyle, Thanks for your interest, but they're pretty strict about the campaign ending. These are SEC regulations, so highly legal matters. You can always support by subscribing to the service! If by any chance you were looking to invest a larger sum of money, in the 5 figures, you can reach out to us outside of WeFunder at info@comicblitz.com. Thanks!
- Q: I thought it was closing at 11 PM May 1, 2017. It is currently 10:54 PM May 1, 2017?
- Q: Hi Jordan, I see that this fundraiser is closing soon. When can my husband expect to get access to his free subscription. We invested $1,000 which gives him a lifetime subscription. I wish you well, and hope you can get things rolling along fast now that you have some additional funds.
 - A: Marcia, we are working on closing out the campaign, and should have your code for you by tomorrow night! Thank you for your support!
- Q: A couple of questions: 1.) when expanding into different markets (Japan, Belgium...) would your license agreements with the publishers cover those new markets or would you have to renegotiate for every country like Netflix seems to do? 2.) Would the new markets have local language content only or English as well?
 - A: 1) Hi Mindy. We currently have world wide rights to about 90-95% of our content, and we currently have users in over 130 countries. 2) Currently all markets only have English, but we have considered testing translations in the future, and seeing the ROI on that.
- Q: Jordan I understand and respect your decision to go part time for financial reasons. Do you plan to plan to become a full time employee and draw a salary after the Wefunder fundraise is complete? The CEO role is hugely important.
 - A: Wade, although I am technically "part time", I am still probably working like 8 hours a day on ComicBlitz! It's all I think about, eat, sleep and breathe. And although I am making money elsewhere, I am still available 100% of the time. I just needed to disclose that I am not technically full time. But yes, there are certainly plans to make it a financial likelihood to get me back to full time ASAP. There's a fine balance between reinvesting in the company, and spending some of that money on a stipend, so we've been working on that balancing act for a bit, and if I'm not back immediately, it'll be after a few months of successful marketing, and bringing in revenue to justify a stipend. I hope that eases your concern!
- Q: The SAFE is for an LLC correct? In case of conversion to future equity, LLC shares would be received which is a pass through entity. This would trigger a Schedule K-1s each year? Can you confirm?
 - A: Yes, when an LLC has equity that will result in needing K-1s for each investor.
- Q: Hello. Is this Tier 1 or Tier 2 Reg A+ Crowdfunding?
 - A: This is actually Regulation "C", or Regulation Crowdfunding, which is available to just about anyone. It's not an IPO, it's a fundraising round designed to let non-accredited investors take part in backing a product or service they otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to. I hope that helps! Here's more on that: https://wefunder.com/faq/legal-primer
- Q: Do any publishers you approached have an exclusivity relationship with Comixology or another subscription service that would prevent them from working with you? I am particularly wondering if Image Comics does.
 - A: Tejinder. There are no exclusive contracts currently with Comixology. However, there are some other factors that make a contract with a particular publisher have to wait for a little bit in some cases. But, we are certainly capable of entering into contracts with just about every publisher in the very near future. Sorry to be broad about it, but I don't want to openly discuss information about these publishers that isn't mine to discuss. I hope you can understand that. Thanks for the question, and hope to have you on board with us!
- Q: I just invested $1,000 to help your company grow because my husband is a comic book geek who has read comics his entire life (he is 71 now). He still spends about $150 or more per month, and when I saw your offering and company, he was very interested in going more digital instead of having a box of comics shipped to him. I would love for you to get recent DC and Marvel comics so that I can totally wean him off the hard copies, so hopefully that will come in the near future. I can't wait until he gets his free lifetime subscription...you will be saving our budget greatly! Good luck to you and we hope we get plenty of updates about your progress, This type of service is a long time coming.
 - A: Marcia, this is my favorite "question" I've gotten on this campaign page! Thank you for backing us, and we're doing everything we can to not only help YOUR wallet, but comic fans around the world. Subscriptions are coming shortly!
