The series includes four novels, each with successively stronger reader responses. The first three, Calculated, Simulated and Activated are available now wherever books are sold. The fourth installment, Liberated, is slated for release summer 2023.Ann Peacock, the award-winning screenwriter especially known for her work on "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," is currently adapting the first novel into a screenplay. Globally respected for her film adaptations, Peacock won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Writing with her script for "A Lesson Before Dying" in 1999. Once a shooting script for Calculated is complete, Ann will be first in line to adapt Calculated's Sequels. CALCULATED SYNOPSISJosephine Rivers is a calculating prodigy with a nearly supernatural ability to look at the world through a purely mathematical lens, even at times predicting the future. After a betrayal within her own family when she is 15 years old, Jo is kidnapped and taken to China by the sinister Maxima, known as “Madame.” Jo is forced to use her gift to increase Madame's fortune. This is only the beginning of our hero’s arduous journey, which sees her moved around Shanghai’s criminal underground as others exploit her gift. Her only close company is an older prisoner, Hong Rui, nicknamed “Red,” whose wisdom and support change how Jo views her own power and teaches her what she needs to survive. At 17, Jo escapes her prison and begins working for one of the wealthiest and most powerful men in China, whose captivating son Kai starts to chip away at her emotional defenses. She holds the fate of the world in her hands, thanks to her unique gifts, but she also craves vengeance against those who’ve wronged her. Can she save the world from a financial collapse and also bring her enemies down? And can she trust Kai enough to let him into her heart?PRAISE FOR CALCULATED“An intense and wonderfully complex thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat and turning pages!” —Jessica Day George, NYT bestselling author of SILVER IN THE BLOOD and the TWELVE DANCING PRINCESSES series“Calculated is smart with plenty of page-turning action and a brave heroine who is deeply relatable. The timely subject matter is heart-wrenching even as it inspires us to use our gifts to make a difference in the world. Twisty and original, this story will keep readers guessing and hoping to its pulse-pounding end!” —Lorie Langdon, best-selling author of DOON and OLIVIA TWIST“I love the novel's concept - a young girl ripped from her family and trafficked for her superpowers who must use her ingenuity to escape and get home. I love the overall message - use your gift for good. I love that our girl is up against a delicious arch-villain, the head of a global trafficking empire - who is also a woman. I love that it is set in the most exotic—architecturally and culturally—of locations, Shanghai. And I love that all of this is packaged into an exciting, action-packed thriller. Oh, and let's not forget the beautiful love story..." —Ann Peacock, award-winning screenwriter of THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBESIMULATED SYNOPSISJo Rivers, safely back in Seattle, asks the same question daily – how does a math genius go from taking down international criminals and saving the world economy to living a normal teenage life? The only answer she can come up with is—she doesn’t. With an overprotective father on her back and Kai on the other side of the world, Jo accepts an offer from Prodigy Stealth Solutions (PSS,) who may have found a way to get her gift back. Using a newly developed technology, PSS tries a simulation process on Jo to restore her abilities, but during the attempt, PSS is hacked and a blacklist file containing some of PSS’s most sensitive secrets is stolen. Meanwhile, a mysterious caller who knows more than he should delivers a warning to Jo about Kai, who then goes missing. Despite her father’s concerns, Jo sets off on a risky trip to Tunisia with a PSS team of teen prodigies to find an urgently needed solution for PSS and locate Kai. All the while, Jo has to trust the mysterious informant who, frighteningly, is like no one she has ever met before.PRAISE FOR SIMULATED“You know how you always have suspicions with sequels? Well, don't fret. Because somehow, Simulated was better than Calculated. I know! Who thought that could be possible? The suspense, plot twists, and action in this book will not leave you disappointed...only wanting more!” —Drew Taylor, Writer. Reader. Reviewer"All of the Mission Impossible action you could hope for, paired with a love triangle that rivals the intensity of Twilight's. Be prepared to choose sides and hold on tight. You're in for one wild ride." —Chelsea Bobulski, author of The Wood and Remember Me“Brilliantly crafted, this technological thriller delivers punch after punch of heart-pounding action. The fearless heroine and two equally intriguing love interests had me flying through the pages. I’m in love with this series!” —Lorie Langdon, best-selling author of the Disney Villains Happily Never After SeriesACTIVATED SYNOPSISAfter her exploits in Tunisia, Jo Rivers knows she’ll never lead a normal life. She also can’t move on until she grasps the unexpected evolution of her mathematical gift and confronts her unresolved feelings after meeting Noble. With Kai undercover, Noble is the only one who has the answers Jo needs. There’s just one small problem: Noble has vanished, leaving only a coded message in the stars. When Rafael, a friend from Jo’s days in China, goes missing, it coincides with a new PSS assignment involving a potentially catastrophic satellite breakdown. Jo suspects something more sinister is at play and has no choice but to track down Noble, who may be her only hope to find Rafael and prevent global chaos. Traveling to the perilous Arctic of Finland, Jo and her band of prodigies team up with unlikely allies from her past to find out what or who is interfering with the satellites— before it’s too late. Trusting her gift, Jo follows a path of numbers that light the way…which leads to answers she didn't predict. Activated is set to release April 21 of 2022, after which time we also will reveal the title and cover for the fourth novel!PRAISE FOR ACTIVATED"Where do I start.. I literally could not put this book down. My kids and I have been reading this as our family read a loud and they're begging me to just finish the book tonight. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. It is Mission Impossible meets, Hunger Games, meets the Godfather. So good we laughed and almost cried and definitely each of us has yelled out loud at the fictional characters who don't feel fictional at all. Gosh everyone needs to read this series." —Brooke, Goodreads reviewer"Throughout this series, I have been impressed by McBee’s storytelling, particularly in her ability to raise emotional and physical stakes in each installment. Each book stands alone in terms of stellar plotting, while also building a series arc - another rare feat of storytelling. And I can’t say much for fear or spoiling the outstanding ending, but I can say this: I am dying to hear there are more installments planned in this series!" —Netgalley Review"If I could rate this ten stars I would!” —Megan, Goodreads Reviewer A MAJOR STUDIO APPROVED BUSINESS MODELOur business plan is a highly sophisticated proven method for securing major Hollywood players. Over the past 30+ years we have provided business, funding and distribution services for 23 studio released motion pictures. We have built up strong relationships with leaders in the entertainment film insurance and banking industry. We enlist the work of A-list screenwriters, directors and actors. Plus, we engage licenses with the world’s leading distributors who connect us to the global market of movie and series binge-watchers, now numbering over 4 Billion. This is your opportunity to be part of a global phenomenon. It's very possible this may be the first raise on an equity crowdfunding platform to open up to the general public the opportunity to invest in the development fund for a major studio released, insured, bank financed*, globally distributed motion picture franchise (*bank financing has not been secured yet).FINANCING STRUCTUREYou are invited to share in providing the Calculated Sequels’ $7.2 million development funding. A bank’s entertainment department will provide each picture’s estimated $50 million production budget, totaling $150 million. This structure provides you 110% to 125% of your investment (depending on whether you invest during the Early Bird window) from Calculated Sequels’ production financing BEFORE it begins production. In addition, you will receive your proportional share of 50% of all Calculated Sequels’ global earnings from every source. To give you an idea of this return, consider that our earnings are projected to be comparable to those of THE HUNGER GAMES and THE DIVERGENT SERIES franchises.ALL OF THESE TIMES AND AMOUNTS ARE FORECASTS. - Thank you Laura for your astute questions! 1a) In the overview, you say that you are expecting to raise $7.2 million for the sequels. This equates to $2.4 million per project. Why is it more for the sequels? During 2020 and 2021 there was an industry-wide increase in the cost of talent of about 20%. Thankfully, to counterbalance that, there was also an increase in the profits seen by productions, much of it due to the DTU nature of streaming that resulted (case study: 1) Wouldn't you be able ...

   - Great question Gary. To start, I'm going to restate the terms, then explain them a bit. First, tranche 1) 110-125% (depending on the amount and timing) of your investment will be paid to investors out of each motion picture's bank-provided production budget (about $50 million each). So, for example, if you invested 1000 into Sequels, when OneDoor gets the bank financed production funding for Simulated, then you will receive at that time $366.66. That's 1/3 of your total 110% return on your $1...

4. **1) You mentioned to Gary Katelansky that once the first sequel goes to production 1/3 of the initial investment +10% is returned. So to get 110% of the initial investment an investor would have to wait until the third film goes into production? 2) what is the current projected...**
   - Great Question Eugene. Keep in mind that you'll also be sharing in the proportional share of the profits from each of the sequels. So while the final sequel film may still be in development and you wouldn't have received the 10% return from that film yet, by that time you would also already be sharing in the profits from the 1st sequel. The 110% return is merely the beginning risk mitigating factor. I wouldn't be excited about the 110% after six years either, but the entire investment picture...

   - Thanks for your great questions Raul. If you have not had the opportunity to read the novels yet, we highly encourage you to do so. We believe it will do for you what it did for us in making you a believer in the power of this story to sweep the world off their feet. I'll start with your last questions first: Have we taken into consideration that the only blockbuster movies that people are paying to watch in cinemas are superhero movies, children movies or sequels for successful action movies...

## Q&A
- Q: just wondering how this investment pays out. assuming all 3 movies are successful do we start getting any payout after the 1st movie or after all 3 movies are complete and are these continuing payouts like royalties or one time payouts based on the initial success of each movie or all 3 movies, please clarify.
  - A: Great question Gary. That's 1/3 of your total 110% return on your $1000 investment. Then, tranche 2) when Simulated is released to the global market, you will receive your portion of the 50% that the Development Company receives, right alongside the producers and the rest of the investors. To be abundantly clear, this participation is not 1/3 per picture like the first tranche. You receive your proportional share alongside all the other investors of 50% of the Development Company's share on all three pictures. (Your investment is in a $7.2 million pool rather than $2 million with Calculated, but your profit participation is in three motion pictures, rather than in just one). I really hope this helps. Feel free to ask more good questions!
- Q: I have many questions about the sequels: 1) In the overview, you say that you are expecting to raise $7.2 million for the sequels. This equates to $2.4 million per project. Why is it more for the sequels? Wouldn't you be able to use the same screenwriter, director, actors, and distributor for all four movies? Do you plan to put it into their contracts that they are committed to all four movies, thus locking in the salaries, and keeping the expenses down? If you do plan to use a different director or screenwriter, can't they get the same salary as the first movie, especially since the first movie hasn't been released yet? 2) In one of the previous questions and answers, you stated that you expect Simulated, the second movie, to be released about three months after Calculated. If that is the plan, then will you be getting a new screenwriter and director for that movie? Do you plan to have the screenplay for both movies to be done at the same time? Otherwise, how do you plan to release the second movie three months after the first one? 3) For those of us who invested in Calculated, we are supposed to get a portion of the profits on the sequels. What percentage of the profits from the sequels is set aside for Calculated investors, and what percentage is set aside for investors in the Calculated sequels? 4) Will the same distributor be locked in for all four movies? 5) Will you use the same bank to finance all four movies? If you use the same players for all of the sequels, I would expect the expenses for the sequels to be less, not more, than the original.
  - A: Thank you Laura for your astute questions! 1a) In the overview, you say that you are expecting to raise $7.2 million for the sequels. This equates to $2.4 million per project. Why is it more for the sequels? During 2020 and 2021 there was an industry-wide increase in the cost of talent of about 20%. If you do plan to use a different director or screenwriter, can't they get the same salary as the first movie, especially since the first movie hasn't been released yet? We love Ann Peacock, and she has a first-look deal built into her agreement. It is our hope and intention that even if she does not personally write all the sequels to Calculated, she will oversee the writing of them all. Would locking in Ann as writer on all of them keep expenses down? This is not necessarily the case. Ann Peacock is a top industry A-list writer. The only way to ensure keeping expenses down would be to lower our standards and hire a less experienced writer. But this is not something we are willing to do. It is the practice of OneDoor (as well as the best production companies in the industry) to fully fund both the development and the production in such a way that fully enables the story to its fullest potential. Nothing less will do for a globally released motion picture or series. Principle photography for pictures of this size are typically 12 weeks. It's completely possible for the same director to oversee post-production over both films even if the schedules are fairly close. Same with the screenwriter. If schedules are close, the key screenwriter may oversee the writing of the 2nd and 4th sequel, for example. Once the first screenplay is set, it provides a template as a predictable process for the rest. A good example of this kind of process would be the Harry Potter movies. 3) For those of us who invested in Calculated, we are supposed to get a portion of the profits on the sequels. What percentage of the profits from the sequels is set aside for Calculated investors, and what percentage is set aside for investors in the Calculated sequels? You can hear our official announcement of this in our update entitled "SEQUELS ARE OPEN AND HOW MUCH?" The amount our Calculated investors participate in the producer's share of the profits on all three sequels is 15%. That means that Calculated investors, without doing anything more, will get 15% of the Producer's share of all profits from all revenue sources. 4) Will the same distributor be locked in for all four movies? This is typically the case for major franchises. Take for example The Hunger Games or Harry Potter franchises. 5) Will you use the same bank to finance all four movies? If you use the same players for all of the sequels, I would expect the expenses for the sequels to be less, not more, than the original. It is highly likely that we will have a longterm relationship with the entertainment branch of one bank that we exercise for all of our projects. To date we have been courted by three entertainment branches from major banks, any one of which will be a great choice for our projects. Let me conclude by encouraging all of our investors reading this to consider that while we work very hard to make sure we are making the best use of both the development and production capital for every project we produce, the flip-side of that same coin is that we refuse to cut corners and endanger compromising the quality of each project. This, in fact, is what sets apart the production companies who are courted by the top distributors worldwide. Take Pixar for example. They have one of the strongest records to date of successes in the film industry. This is primarily due to their uncompromising commitment to excellence in their storytelling craft from scripting to editing. It is a balance to make sure we are frugal, while always ensuring we don't short-change our story, giving it everything it deserves. - Q: Let's assume that the production budget for the first film is 60 MUSD and we have a 300 MUSD box office. I read on the internet that the producing companies get 50% of domestic ticket sales and 30% for overseas. Nowadays US box office generally accounts for 1/3 of the total gross. I am right if I say that in this scenario, out of 300 MUSD, one door pictures will get 50 MUSD for domestic box office and 60 for the rest of the world ? It would mean a R.O.I of almost 100%. On top of that can we expect something like 50MUSD for tv, streaming and blu ray licensing ? I am just trying the guess if the juice is worth the squeeze before comitting to make a bigger investment.
  - A: Thanks for your question, Farid. Let me first direct you to two update videos that we made to answer this very question at greater length. Our YouTube channel's playlist "How it Works," especially the first 3 videos, are what you will want to watch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAFLv4M5Gj0&list=PLY33hXEeHD2d6LxQMH5GPzkxPT7Ei7x74). In a nutshell, here it is: Calculated Sequels investors receive at least 110% return ($7.92 Million as a group) from each picture’s bank-provided production budget. This is an early preferred return before we start production. Investors also receive 50% of all the Company’s profits which are derived from 50% of all profits paid to the Company. As an investor group, this share is forecast to be between $37 Million to $179 Million during the first 5 distribution years. As explained further in our video above entitled "What Does Leverage Mean?" the investor is not investing in the entire $180 million pool, but rather in the initial development pool of $7.2 million pool ($2.4 million development fund per picture, and $60 million production fund per picture). We calculated that the leverage is about 25x from development to the bank-financed production fund, and then again 50x to the projected 2:1 earning-to-cost minimum of $360 million. Hope that helps...but the videos to a much better job, so head on over to our playlist.
- Q: How can I put my daughter on the investment as a beneficiary?
  - A: Thanks for your question about this Allen. Here is what WeFunder told us: "Our platform does not currently support adding a beneficiary to your account. However, we have a very easy process when someone writes in needing a beneficiary transfer. Our Investor Success team is ready to help through those difficult times and make the transfer easy and painless. Simply have them write to support@wefunder.com and they will get you taken care of." Hopefully this helps.
- Q: I do have a question: why don’t you guys finish the first movie and verify how much success is going to have? Funding a sequel without releasing the first movie doesn’t make sense to me. Have you guys also take into consideration that the only blockbuster movies that people are paying to watch in cinemas are superhero movies, children movies or sequels for successful action movies? Have you guys prepare for that as well?
  - A: Thanks for your great questions Raul. If you have not had the opportunity to read the novels yet, we highly encourage you to do so. We believe it will do for you what it did for us in making you a believer in the power of this story to sweep the world off their feet. I'll start with your last questions first: Have we taken into consideration that the only blockbuster movies that people are paying to watch in cinemas are superhero movies, children movies or sequels for successful action movies? Yes, we sure have. Calculated's lead protagonist, Josephine Rivers is a calculating prodigy with a nearly supernatural ability to look at the world through a purely mathematical lens, even at times predicting the future. She fits right into that superhero kind of mold. (In fact, the top shop in the world nearly took it on, they loved it so much. It's full of action, comparable to Mission Impossible and The Count of Monte Cristo, and it is a PG-13 story--something teens, parents, and grandparents can all watch together (we call it a wide-audience tentpole motion picture). So as it turns out, all the boxes you mentioned are ticked. Now, to answer your question as to why we are developing Calculated's sequels along with the first picture. There are several and various reasons. The simple answer is, first, we don't greenlight motion pictures or series that have not been put through our rigorous industry process and come out with a minimum 2:1 earnings to cost ratio at minimum. Some other reasons include the reduced costs associated with developing multiple projects simultaneously. There are several examples in the industry, including The Lord of the Rings. You can learn more from our "How it Works" videos where we explain our business processes a little more in depth here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAFLv4M5Gj0&list=PLY33hXEeHD2d6LxQMH5GPzkxPT7Ei7x74 Thanks for asking astute questions, Raul.
