## Story
We provide an automated text marketing and feedback system to restaurants that works seamlessly with their point of sale and online ordering systems. Our restaurant partners typically get $10-$15 back for every dollar that they spend with us.We founded Boostly in 10/2017 and went through a few pivots before we landed on this current concept that we’ve grown to roughly $1m in annual revenue through outbound sales. We’re just getting warmed up and plan to grow our marketing channels in the months to come.ProblemsRestaurants live or die based on their ability to get their customers ordering regularly, but over 60% of a restaurant's customer base never make it in for a 2nd visit.Customer data is notoriously hard for restaurant owners to access because it’s in several different systems with various accessibility challenges.Restaurant owners are strapped for time and often lack any marketing know-how.Most restaurant marketing lacks good tracking to know exactly how it’s working. Our SolutionWe aggregate customer data from several data sources for the restaurant & get customers to opt in to receive texts from the store. We put text marketing on autopilot with weekly offers, birthday deals, & relevant reminders. While the customer eats, we solicit feedback via a 2 click survey and help to connect the restaurant with the guest if there was an issue or generate a 5 star review on Google. We track the restaurant’s ROI across all of their sales channels (online, over the phone, or in-store).

## FAQ
1. **Hi, thanks for doing a raise on the platform, just as a sanity check, how is this different than a restaurant using Twillio (?)**
 - Since Twilio is merely an API to send messages to a carrier, there are very few restaurants that have the ability to use Twilio. It would require them to develop their own software to interface with Twilio's API. They would also have to manage the opt-in/opt-out requirements. Additionally, our system not only sends messages, but allows the restaurant to collect feedback, generate public facing reviews, aggregate their data from their POS, online ordering, and other sources, track return on ma...
2. **In your market slide - can you expand on the $350 monthly revenue? Is that industry average or is that what Boostly has earned on average?**
 - That is Boostly's current Average Revenue Per Account.
3. **Also, what's the source of 1.5M restaurants? Is that in the US?**
 - That is the US & Canada, pulled from ReferenceUSA
4. **Can this concept be transferred to apparel too? or grocery? or movies?**
 - Yes, this transfers to several retail sectors. For instance we already have some non restaurant customers even though it hasn’t been our focus. If a business relies on a frequent repeat purchaser, this is a very viable solution.
5. **Hi Shane - thanks for offering us the opportunity to invest, can obviously see the massive opportunity to disintermediate the delivery platforms, drive recurring sales, etc...very exciting. I have a few questions: What is your MRR today? How many active clients do you have? Wh...**

## Q&A
- Q: Where's the numbers on cost and growth rate? What is the exit plan?

- Q: @Shane Murphy, Any exciting news! Any traction with larger entities to assist in growth? Any software/platform license deals (AWS, Adobe etc)? Anypatents or patents applications? Whats boostly burn rate and runway? Can we get an update or webinar (sorry if I missed the latedst update)? How will you incorporate AI techonology, into your SMS platform? Any partnerships? Thanks for the opportunity
 - A: Hey Denyveaus, our monthly updates always include burn and runway (Burn: $76k & Runway: 18 months). We have a partnership with ChowNow that is going well. If you check out the prior monthly updates, we've discussed it in depth. No patens at this point, but after raising anther round of funding, we do have opportunities to look into some software patents. Platform license deals aren't a fit for our business. Thank you for supporting us!

 - A: Hey Damien! We have focused on a direct sales approach with SDRs and AEs doing outbound inside sales. That's a repeatable process at this point.
- Q: Why investment through credit card is not entertained?
- Q: I see Investor Perks but they seem to be left blank or not showing up properly. Are there any? Would love the $10k perk to be a lifetime subscription of Boostly as my wife runs 2 fast casual restaurants. :)
 - A: There aren’t extra investor perks, other than you get in early to a YC backed startup and that you get to see your investment grow :). If your wife has interest in using Boostly, we can arrange a full demo of the program if you email sales@boostly.com or text us at 800-720-7738.
