## FAQ
1. **Why did you decide to go with a loan on wefunder? Couldn't you get a better rate from a bank?**
   - Our bank, Wells Fargo will only lend to a business that has been open for a minimum of two years, despite us having excellent credit scores. On the positive side, we are hoping to build a great community of investors - each of whom I am sure will have great ideas/concepts for us. I have invested in several of these "crowd funding" deals myself and love the concept!
2. **What was the train of thought between incurring debt instead of issuing equity?**
   - Based on historic numbers and traffic flow we believe that it will be very easy for us to pay off the debt and we didn't want to have a lot of small equity partners. We would be amicable to discussing an equity position with a large investor, especially somebody interested in additional locations.
3. **What quarter do payments start being paid back? 4th 2017? 1st 2018? If investing $500 do you get the lithograth plus the art print?**
   - We are thinking of first repayment December 31st, 2017. If you invest $500 we will send you both the lithograph and the fine art print. They will be gorgeous (we founded a big art company 15 years ago)! Have a great weekend. Best regards Klaus
4. **Will the note secured with assets? Are you personally guaranteering the note?**
   - Hi Jon, we have not personally guaranteed the note but are obviously confident that the business will throw off sufficient cash flow. If you are looking at investing a large amount, we would be more than happy to personally guarantee such loan.
5. **Will the Wefunder debt be senior or subordinate to the related party loan?**

- Q: When exactly is the opening of your store?
  - A: We are still shooting for the end of October but November seems more likely due to the backlog in local permitting process.
- Q: Are you inviting local investors to your grand opening?
  - A: Absolutely! There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Venice Chamber of Commerce and of course lots of free ice cream! If you live locally, I am also happy to show you the space.
- Q: When do the 1099's come out and where can we access them?
- Q: Klaus. Thanks I’ll try but I’ve totally lost confidence in this platform. I’m not the only investor with issues. I hope you are moving off this platform. Good luck with your company!
  - A: I am out of town but will call wefunder on Wednesday and ask if they can reply to you and copy me so I can post it here
- Q: Klaus. Thanks for your reply but I’ve lost 28% on my total investment with you. I invested $500. In April 2018 I received $64.68 and just recently a check for $291. For a total loss on my original $500 of $144 or 28% loss.
  - A: Kurt - you have not lost anything. You need to contact refunder and tell them that they owe all of the quarterly payments. You should have received 5 or 6 quarterly payments. My guess is that they still owe you about $270!!
- Q: hi Klaus, similar question as Kurt. I have $2000 investment and so far, Have received total of 4 quarterly deposits (first deposit received in August 2018) and a final payment of $1166.69. Total payout $2048.61. A $48.61 return just doesn’t add up. Can you please forward the email and see if I missed a check (or 2) Thanks!!!!’ :)  day hi to Shelle 
  - A: Hi Sam, you must have missed at ;east one wefunder payment. Please can you contact them. All investors had at least 5 payments - most of the investors had 6 already.
- Q: I have a $500 investment of which I just received a check of $291 in the mail. Is this a return off my investment or is this all I have left from my $500 investment? Or is my investment still in tact?
  - A: That is the balance of th einvestment still owed to you.
- Q: To be honest, I am quite confused. I have never received any payments from you guys or Wefunder. In addition I have not received either 2017 or 2018 1099’s. Not sure what is going on.

  - A: Just heard back from wefunder. It looks like you have not claimed any of your payments so they are all sitting in the wefunder escrow account!
- Q: How do I report my interest income from Boardwalk to the IRS? Wefunder or Boardwalk's EIN?
  - A: We are not alowed by law to give any tax advise. The income is received from Boardwalk. 
- Q: Hi, I received a 1099 but have not received a check for interest. The information on the 1099 is correct. Would you be able to reissue a payment? Thank you for your time and consideration.
  - A: The payments come directly from wefunder not from us. We make one big payment to wefunder. I will forward your message to them. kindest regards Klaus

  - A: Yes! We are still waiting to receive the interest calculations from wefunder. Hopefully we will get them this week!
