The outside plastic molds sometimes come out of our steel comparison tools with small sink marks, etc. In order to make our tool look the best, we often require sandblasting these pieces in order to get to the best texturing necessary to complete our tool. However, all of our new 6th generation 2017 kits versions will come with upgrades such as new internal circuit board and factory texturing on the injection molds that are already in place so that our plastics come out ready to assemble. This step will eliminate the need for timely and expensive sandblasting. These two upgrades, plus larger volume orders, will likely reduce our production cost from about $55/kit down to about $35/kit.
