## Story
On November 18th, 2020 Appalachian FC Chief Marketing Officer Bigfoot walked down from his NEST to knock the ball around at picturesque Ted Mack Stadium. AND Appalachian FC was officially launched with a viral video on social media and the Squatchiest Soccer Team in America, possibly, the world was born.  What a year it's been... An expansion team led by Head Coach Dale Parker started play in May 2021 and found success on the field, winning the hearts of the High Country soccer faithful as Appalachian FC qualified for the NPSL Southeast Conference Playoffs.  Playing in front of a packed stadium, Game Days in Boone became a big time event with a great tailgating scene, supporters pre-game party at Booneshine Brewing Company and the Supporters March to the stadium through the woods from Booneshine to Ted Mack. Then the celebratory Post Game Party where many Squatchy Ales (Official Beer of Appalachian FC) were enjoyed. Appalachian FC gear is a hot commodity in the High Country and around the US with over $150,000 of merchandise sold online to all 50 states. Appalachian FC opened a Team Shop which has become a very popular shopping destination for local Appalachian FC supporters and soccer fans visiting the High Country.  Appalachian FC has a multi-year Partnership with global brand, PUMA. From the very beginning, the High Country Business Community shared Appalachian FC vision for soccer in Boone and the clubs commitment to the community.  Thirty-Three companies became Charter Sponsors for the Inaugural Season. Basically, the "Who's Who" Best of Boone Business joined the Appalachian FC Sponsorship Family.  The primary jersey sponsor proudly featured iconic area business, Mast General Store. Appalachian FC is a community club.  Our vision is to grow the beautiful game in the High Country while providing opportunities for players to pursue their dream of playing soccer at the highest level, giving opportunities for App State students to intern and gain valuable real world sports management experience, using the World's most popular game to inspire local youth soccer players to reach their potential and to use our players as positive role models and ambassadors in the community.  Appalachian FC is made up of one of the strongest ownership groups in minor league sports that includes some of the best soccer executives and coaches in the game, local soccer and community leaders and successful business owners and entrepreneurs in Boone.    - All Games are Digitally Broadcast so investors and fans all over the world can enjoy the games.
2. **If there is a loss in revenue, will the investor be responsible for additional funding outside the initial investment?**
   - No Capital Calls for Investors through Wefunder Campaign if there's an Annual Loss. So you're only responsible for your original investment.
3. **1. How is the club valued at 2.5M? 2. Where is the money going towatds? 3. Is Hitchcocks involvement with NAFC and that debacle a concern for the rest of ownership?**
   - 1. Based on revenue, profits, balance sheet and comps with other clubs valuations. 2. Breakdown of funds will be presented once the campaign goes live in December 3. No Concerns. Hitch leads Appalachian FC as Managing Partner and we're very happy with our successful launch and ongoing operations.

  - A: In 2022, we're paying distributions to Partners based on 2021 Profitability. If Business is profitable in a year, investors will get distributions (albeit, it will take time to recoup your investment through Distributions). Equity Valuation increase is the best measure of getting a return on your investment. If you sell your shares in the future at an increased value, then you'd make money on this investment.
- Q: Is there any plan or will there be an opportunity for league advancement (ie:USL league One, USL Championship)?
  - A: At this time, NPSL is the right league for Appalachian FC. As the club evolves and grows, we'll see if a different level of professional soccer in the US Soccer Pro-Am Pyramid is the right fit.
- Q: What would an investment include

- Q: Interesting opportunity. How exactly will investors earn a return down the road? Do you plan to offer dividends and/or sell the team at some point? Hard to imagine such an enterprise going public.
  - A: Distributions will be paid every year that the team is profitable. As point of reference, we've been profitable since our launch. The Equity Value will increase over time so in theory, your equity is worth more in the future.
