Developing the world's first maskless, hoseless microCPAP device for Sleep Apnea

## Elevator pitch
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a medical condition affecting as many as 100 million people. Symptoms are snoring, choking, and gasping for air when asleep and sleepiness when awake. Untreated, OSA contributes to serious health problems — cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stroke, memory loss, and cancer. While Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), the standard treatment for OSA, is effective, its discomfort and inconvenience cause 80% of patients to abandon it within a year.

## Quick facts
- We've established a very strong brand – 8 million visitors to fundairing.com; 136,000 followers on Facebook; over 55 million views of unsolicited web videos about Airing.
- Over $4M has been raised to date – $1.9 million on Indiegogo from over 20,000 contributors since June 2015, making Airing one of the top grossing medical device campaigns across all crowdfunding platforms, and $2.15 million raised from investors.
- Functioning prototypes of various components, some of which are moving at operational speed, have already been built. A key component has yet to be demonstrated – micro-blowers blowing air.
- Multiple patent applications filed by Airing’s parent, Encite LLC, for technologies licensed to Airing for use in the device, with more being filed.
- Strategic relationship with a major international manufacturer that provides key equipment for testing and demonstrating feasibility of the technologies used in the device.

## Q&A
- Q: How will you implement the Airing to blow the right air pressue for each individual person? example: BIPAP 15/20 cmH20
- Q: When will the Airing be availble for all of us with Sleep Apnea that want it???
- Q: This product seems too good to be true. Can you provide any clarity or address the numerous websites and comments online refuting that it is possible to build a device like this at the cost you state and calling Airing a scam? A simple Google search of "Airing" does not instill confidence. Would love to see this come to fruition but have a hard time believing it. How is a small company with no employees going to develop this when a giant company like Resmed has not? What is your competitive advantage?
- Q: what is difference between your product and the company that has a website called- Nomask.com
- Q: I invested with Indiegogo what seems like a long time ago. From what I recall it seems that you are way behind schedule in bringing this device to market. That and a lack of being kept updated makes me concerned about future investing. Your feedback is welcomed.
- Q: I am interested in investing however, in your key facts you note that "Multiple patent applications filed by Airing’s parent, Encite LLC, for technologies licensed to Airing for use in the device, with more being filed." Your request for investment money is based upon investing in Airing. If all of the patents are held by the parent company there would be virtually no value to Airing regardless of their sales as their future success would be totally dependent upon the licensing agreement with Encite. The value is in the patents. How will this money be used by Airing if the patents are being filed and held by the parent company? Will this money fund the patent development owned by Encite? And how do you expect the value of Airing to increase if they are nothing more than a distributor?
- Q: I consider myself an ideal consumer for Airing’s innovative product, having long ago abandoned use of my CPAP machine. How would you describe your progress toward achieving a truly functional micro blower that will create enough pressure to arrest a severe level of sleep apnea? Is the technology resolved or still to be developed?
- Q: Why are the patents not owned by the company that is developing the technology and which we are being asked to invest into? If the investor owned company doesn’t have control of the patents there is nothing to stop the technology being licensed to all sorts of other companies without benefit to the investors. In fact at severe risk of the loss of the investment. As the existing investors and new are investing on the basis of the uniqueness of the technology why would we invest without limits on the patent use?
- Q: i invested 75.00 back in 2015 how can i be sure that i will ever see anything
- Q: Are these one time use only? If so are they recycleable?
- Q: Have you thought about a rechargable battery using a micro usb port? Carting many of these while traveling would become cumbersome. I am sure there are ways to clean other than liquid that would ruin the electronics.
- Q: Why after 24 months I didn’t get the device even that I pay you 200$.even now after 32 months I didn’t get it, and you don’t answer or give us the device???
- Q: Will this device also function for those on BIPAP therapy or ASV therapy?
- Q: How do you plan to address CPAP patients who are mouth breathers?
- Q: How about for one of the "Perks" you get one of the units for ourself?
