## Story
What started as an effort over a decade ago to bring together Detroiters through the world's game has grown into a professional team that has consistently redefined what an American soccer club can be. Detroit City FC is more than a soccer team. DCFC is memorable, fun, rabid, community-oriented, winning, authentic, professional, affordable, inspiring . . . and now something you can be a part of as an owner.WHAT DETROIT CITY FC DOESDetroit City FC is Detroit’s soccer team. Never settling for just being a third division, pro soccer team, DCFC is rooted in the community and committed to being the sporting embodiment of the revival of Detroit, one of the world's most notorious, iconic, and lovable cities. As a business entity, DCFC is focused on promoting the beautiful game, creating an accessible sporting event for all, and being around for generations to come through prudent management and a fiscally conservative approach. In 2014, DCFC was the American sports to wear an LGBTQ equality jersey in a competitive match, as fundraiser for a local homeless shelter LGBTQ youth.A CLUB THAT WAS BUILT BY ITS SUPPORTERSOur fans are who we are. A sense of ownership in the creation and growth of the club exists among our supporters. And rightfully so. From mowing the pitch at our original stadium in the middle of the night to cooking meals for players to traversing the country to support the team on the field, the supporters have been there for the club every step of the way. In 2015, when it came time for the club to find a new home, we purposely engaged our greatest asset, our supporters, in the largest community investment campaign in Michigan history. Thanks to their efforts, both financially and with volunteer work, we were able to secure a 8,000 seat stadium under a long term lease and gave the most passionate soccer fans in the region an even greater emotional (and financial) interest in the success of the club. As a result of the supporter culture around the club and our grassroots approach, Detroit City FC has seen growth in attendance and revenue each year with minimal spending on marketing. A fall 2019 survey of 750 fans found that 83% had recruited a friend or family to attend their first DCFC match in the past year. Our fans define our club and now they have a chance to own a piece of it.In 2016, DCFC takes the field at Keyworth Stadium in front of a capacity crowd, after renovation of the historic venue.COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINED GROWTHDCFC has achieved tremendous growth since its founding in 2012, regularly attaining double-digit increases in annual home match attendance and gross revenue. The club has always been committed to a fiscally conservative approach to budgeting and strict management of expenses. These values will stay core to the club's leadership as it seeks new investment to expand revenue generators through additional staff and stadium improvements as well as to help the club navigate the impact of the coronavirus on professional sports. BE AN OWNER. SHAPE THE CULTURE OF YOUR CLUBIn many ways our club is defined by the culture that has emerged around the organization and its supporters over the years. The organizations and causes that the club and fans have embraced over the years, as well as those individuals who have represented the club on and off the field, have helped to define DCFC culture. As an owner, you'll have an opportunity to attend the annual owners' meeting and help determine matters central to club culture, such as annual charity partners, honors for past players, stadium policies, and many of the other elements that make DCFC such a special club.TIMELINE FOR DETROIT CITY FCComing together through a community organizing project, doubling as neighborhood based soccer league, five everyday guys kick in a few thousand dollars and start the path to Detroit's first professional soccer team in generations.City launches its inaugural season at Cass Tech in Downtown Detroit. exceeding all expectations.A winning men's team emerges: defiantly devoted to soccer culture and making a positive impact on the community. ## FAQ
1. **Is it possible to gift a share? And if so how?**
 - Unfortunately you're not able to give a unit of DCFC as a gift through this offering. Investors are actually becoming an owner of the Michigan Limited Liability Company, DCFC Holdings, and are in effect writing a contract between themselves and the company, they have to sign the paperwork and make the investment themselves. This isn't something you can do on someone's behalf.
2. **If I buy two shares Can they be in two different names?**
 - Would need to be two transactions to have separate names.
3. **can i invest if i live in the U.k.?**
 - Yes. International investments are generally permitted.
4. **Is the "Exclusive 10% discount on season tickets and merchandise" a multi-year or lifetime thing?**
 - Good as long as you have the units. Although we wouldn't allow the 10% to be in addition to any other discount at that time.
5. **Does the equity offering cover the entirety of the club and its assets, including the fieldhouse? Are these the same share class held by current equity holders?**
 - This offering is for DCFC Holdings, which covers Detroit City Football Club(men's and women's teams) and Detroit City Futbol League. Detroit City Clubhouse and Detroit City Fieldhouse, are two separate entities, with similar but not identical ownership as DCFC Holdings. Investors in this offering would hold Class B units of DCFC Holdings, where as the founders are Class A units. The operating agreement in the Form C lays out the different roles, responsibilities, and rights of the two differe...

## Q&A
- Q: Does this in any way at all relate to Lansing United blowing a 3-0 lead while being up a player at Keyworth Stadium?
- Q: Is it possible to gift a share? And if so how?
 - A: Unfortunately you're not able to give a unit of DCFC as a gift through this offering. Investors are actually becoming an owner of the Michigan Limited Liability Company, DCFC Holdings, and are in effect writing a contract between themselves and the company, they have to sign the paperwork and make the investment themselves. - Q: How was the $10.8 million valuation determined?
 - A: The valuation was determined based on a number of factors that are typically used in valuation models. Primarily it is based on a multiple of current and future gross revenue. We also took into consideration future growth potential of DCFC, our position in the local and national marketplace, the value of our IP assets, and comparisons to other valuations of sports teams.
- Q: Is the "Exclusive 10% discount on season tickets and merchandise" a multi-year or lifetime thing?
 - A: Good as long as you have the units. Although we wouldn't allow the 10% to be in addition to any other discount at that time.
- Q: Is it still possible to still purchase new shares in the future?
- Q: Am I the only one getting frustrated with the lack of communication with this investment opportunity? Hey Wefunder! If you tell us 1 week, Tuesday, or another date, get back to us. Everyone on here is being nice so far and waiting calmly for updates. #NeverAgain
- Q: Is it possible to still purchase shares?
 - A: Thank you for your interest. The campaign closed to new pledge on November 7th, so there are no shares available for purchase.
- Q: Are there any rules that NISA or DCFC require Common Stock owners to abide by? (i.e Green Bay Packers Common Stock owners may not criticize the NFL, its employees, etc.)
- Q: Could you provide a bit more color on the $10.8M pre-money valuation? The valuation appears to be, at least, twice as much as the most valuable team in the USL, which is a more established league. I look forward to your response. Thank you.

- Q: can i gift a share to a friend? they also may be an investor already
 - A: Since it is an ownership stake in the organization, they would need to make the investment on their own and this platform does not offer gift certificates.
- Q: If I buy two shares Can they be in two different names?
 - A: Would need to be two transactions to have separate names.
- Q: Hi Aaron, I love DCFC and if there are any other future things like this, would you find a different company from WeFunder? Given how long this has taken, plus their lack of updates to the thread where they said to blame them and they would update us in a week, plus just not responding to support emails has left a really poor taste in my mouth. You have been excellent at responding, but WeFunder... nope.
 - A: Let's hope that this once in a lifetime pandemic that created the need for this once in a lifetime investment opportunity only happens once in our lifetimes.
- Q: What is the difference between the convertible note fundraise and the $125 per share fundraise (a.k.a the fundraise that was oversubscribed)?
 - A: Good morning. Sorry for the confusion. A convertible note raise is an entirely different type of investment, and something we are NOT doing. There was an error with Wefunder that defaulted the switch in our campaign after we closed. No pledges are being accepted under that type of investment, and it's being remedied immediately. Thanks for your attentiveness!
- Q: can I buy shares even if I’m not a US resident? Because I already did. Soccer fan from Panama here.
