How it works:

1. Artists create a profile by adding their services, hourly rate, location, and availability. They can upload photos of their work and set up their payment info to start taking bookings immediately.
2. Clients browse curated artist profiles based on style, skin tone, and location. Once they find the right fit, they can request an appointment, send a deposit, and communicate directly through the app.
3. Artists receive appointment requests, confirm bookings, and manage their calendar—all within TattMe.
4. After the session, clients can leave reviews and shout out great work, helping others find the perfect artist for them.

THE BUSINESS

Many competitors have built solid booking tools for tattoo artists—but that’s where they stop. At TattMe, we’re building much more than scheduling software. We’re creating a platform that modernizes the entire tattoo experience, with a focus on visibility, access, and representation for Black and Brown artists and clients—something the rest of the industry continues to overlook. Our vision goes beyond booking—we’re building the future of tattoo culture.

Phase 1: Transaction Revenue (Active)

• We generate revenue by charging a small fee on each booking processed through the platform. On average, TattMe earns ~$14 per transaction (about 6%), while artists keep 100% of their rate—unlike other platforms that charge them. This structure makes adoption frictionless for artists and builds trust early.

Phase 2: Subscriptions (Launching Q3 2025)

• We’ll introduce a premium subscription tier for artists, priced at ~$200/year. While a free version will always be available, the subscription unlocks powerful features like analytics, enhanced discovery, and advanced calendar tools. This SaaS model adds predictable, recurring revenue as we scale.

Phase 3: Marketplace Monetization (Expanding in 2025)

• TattMe will serve as a curated marketplace for aftercare, education, and tattoo supplies—partnering with brands and vendors. We’ll earn 10–30% per transaction on products sold through the platform, connecting artists and clients to tools they already use, but with better access and cultural alignment.
