Josefina Inc. was born out of both grief and love — a tribute to my grandmother who, like many Puerto Rican women of her generation, changed her name to “Josephine” while building a life in New York City. This brand is about reclaiming that name and honoring her elegance, fire, and legacy.

Our company is believed to be developing the first tequila brand founded and owned by a Black Hispanic woman. It’s more than a spirit — it’s a reclamation of heritage, a celebration of culture, and a commitment to sustainability, transparency, and craftsmanship.
