THE AR HOUSE STORY

AR House started as a tweet: "We are looking to start an AR creator house... We need $100k for 6 months. Who should we talk to?"

In 72 hours a dozen people from the AR community came together and pledged $100k with no strings attached. A week later AR House was in business collecting checks and just 3 months after that AR House was a real place hosting its first 10 creators for an immersive AR program in a Hollywood Hills mansion. 

Since then we've onboarded 65+ creators from 20 countries who have gone on to garner 10 billion views and raise $25m for their projects while making literally 100s of contributions to the ever-growing Metaverse. We've won partnerships and support from the biggest names in AR & VR from Snapchat to Niantic to Meta and HTC, all of which have helped us to build an incredible program providing creators with impossible opportunities to network, learn, and work with the most cutting edge AR technologies.

AR House is really something special. It's not an SF tech bro hacker house or a viral Tik Tok mansion, it's a summer camp meets accelerator attracting the most kind-hearted and talented people in the Metaverse who will build a Metaverse we all want to live in. We don't take equity or mandatory fees, and we've run the house completely as volunteers while holding down our creators

And now we're ready to take things to the next level and be the creator-first community this emerging Metaverse industry needs. We have big plans to expand our creator education program, our investment fund, and create a network of houses around the globe, as well as form a distribution network for AR content we call the 'Houseverse' which will give creators an avenue to distribute & monetize their AR content in real world venues across the world, from coffee shops to galleries to large location-based entertainment facilities.
